Ok, so I was going to write up a blog post on cakes. Specifically, wedding cakes. And how it is intertwined with certain cultures. So I started up on research on the many different wedding cakes now available. Couture, multi layered, cupccake tiered, cheesecake etc. The list goes on!

And then decided that maybe we should all share our cakes on here. Post up pics of your wedding cakes or recent birthday cakes or weekend indulgence (ya know, that odd Boston Cheesecake slice with espresso).

Or even, feel free to list which slice you're craving for now!

This was my sis's wedding cake - 3-tiered fondant covered, triple choc fudge cake.

And this is what I am craving for now...

Or these, just for display. Cos they're too pretty to eat!

great idea, except uh, I'm not married, never have been and I hate celebrating brithdays so no one ever makes me a cake!~ lolol

Great pictures though...gotta admit I'm a food whore...especially when it comes to sweets

Wow, your sister had an impressive wedding cake!!! My wedding cake was beautiful - milk chocolate and white chocolate marble, but it was so small, the table it was sitting on almost looked empty. But the cake was nice though. At the moment, I'm obsessed with apple and rhubarb cake.

Mmm.. I was ambitious today and had a slice each of Boston Cheesecake and a Double Fudge Pudding Cake. Of course I shared it with 2 others

Aimzster, yea my sis's wedding cake was a gift from me. Was real pretty and yummy too! Although, your wedding cake sounds pretty awesome as well. Apple & rhubarb huh?
